I like that the hotel is farther down the main street so it does get quieter at night and you can hear the ocean. My bed felt comfortable and I like they are pretty generous with the toiletries in the bathroom. Have stayed before on the lower floor, this time was on the upper. I feel like the top floor has thinner walls because I could hear our neighbors talking in the evening, any time someone in an a joining room used the shower or toilet you had to close your bathroom door because it was somewhat loud from the water running and the doors closing to other rooms sounded like they were slamming them each time. Overall though a decent stay for a decent price. Would stay again.

We got there and checked in at 8:30 p.m. so we actually got the last available room. I didn't realize initially that we needed to specify a pet friendly room, so the mistake was mine, but they were still kind enough to accommodate us and asked us to take extra care of a non-pet friendly room. The room was upstairs and really cute. Nice decorations and bright fresh accent wall paint, with a cute seashell trim along the ceiling. The room was very clean and the heater worked well. We stayed there in November, so it got very chilly at night. I was thankful for the heater. The staff was kind and very friendly.

The bed was so comfortable to sleep on after not sleeping at all the previous night (due to a bad experience at a different motel). Also, the guy in charge was kind enough to let my husband and I check-in early so we could take a nap (again, we had not slept at all the previous night). Before we went inside our room, we could see the cleaning ladies cleaning our room really well; we could even smell the cleaning products so we felt better about staying here.

The motel itself is beautiful, quaint and nicely decorated with a beach theme. The location is excellent, close to downtown shops and the walking distance to the Embarcadero. There are several good restaurants nearby as well, all within walking distance. It was quiet and peaceful with great views from the upper floors. This place is also pet friendly, although there is a small fee for pets. We will be staying here again on our next trip!
